Everest Challenge: 10,190m on our climbing wall in a day!

Just a small selection of photos, showing some of our pupils participating in the climbing challenge which gripped the whole school on 22nd May.

Children from Years 2-6 managed to climb 10,190m between them, on the traversing wall, in just one day; almost 1,300m further than their target, which was the height of Everest (8,848m)!

Reception and Year 1 children did an equally amazing job, stepping up onto benches a staggering 5,622 times, which equated to 1,848m of climbing. Wow!
